been re watching sports night. last night i started season two. it seems to me that every main character on the series got at least 50% more attractive. maybe they just got better cameras or something. strong writing + characters that got better looking over time = canceled series? that math doesn't add up in my head.
since that's a 10 year old debate i've already lost, i'll just point out the line (spoken by william h. macy as sam donovan) that i believe is the greatest line in television history. it's one of many from the series that i live by.
"You shouldn't think that just because I'm looking at you while you're talking to me, that I'm necessarily listening to or caring about what you're saying. It's just something I do to be polite."
