i don't remember what my blurb here at the top was going to be. i had an idea and then something happened and *poof* the idea was gone. i remember thinking it was sorta of interesting too. then again i think most of what i put up here is interesting, even if its just interesting to me. some of it turns out hilarious, but most of it is drivel. shit you can read anywhere, anytime. nothing special.
anyway, what happened is a delivery guy. i fucking hate delivery guys. most of them at least. some are really good eggs. on the scale of people i have to deal with in my job delivery guys are only saved from being the biggest pricks because 98% of real estate brokers are soulless cunts who'd choke their own mother to make a sale.
delivery guys…in general are either some sort of asian or some sort of latino. i generalize because i really don't have the time or inclination to learn either's language to ask. what i have learned though is that in asian and latin american countries the clocks move about 10 times as fast as they do here in america. they just have to.
see, just now a delivery guy showed up. told my doorman where he was going, and scurried along to the garage where he is to be picked up by the elevator guy. this particular delivery guy stood there for maybe 20 seconds before coming to me and asking where the elevator guy was. after i told him to wait for the guy and that he'd be down shortly, the delivery guy told me he'd been waiting for "more than 5 minute."
in reality he'd been waiting perhaps 45 seconds. and that's if you count from the time he pulled his bike up to the building. yeah, i fucking hate delivery guys. the few good ones are awesome. but they can't make up for the shit that the rest of them cause.
on that note, football. i started off the year strong. very strong. almost strong enough to convince me to start putting money down on my picks. thank god i didn't.
