twitter rocks!
i loves me some twitter because it lets me shoot lil posts to the site that show up over on the side there. it's neat for those times something sorta interesting comes up that really isn't worth an entire post.
it's also neat to banter back and forth with folks who do their own updates. only problem is if i "@replied" someone, that would show up on the site here which honestly isn't interesting to anyone who isn't the person i was replying to. (as opposed to the tweets i tweet which theoretically aren't interesting to anyone at all). so to fix that, i started a second twitter account so i could follow folks and tweet back at em without getting all mixed up with content for the site…yay critical thinking!

so yesterday was the nba all star game where the greatest stars of the 3rd least interesting sport on the planet get together to not play defense…yay!
in any case, shaq and kobe split the all star game mvp. good for them! they seemed really happy to be holding the trophy up together and afterward thy tasted each others asses. see, shaq really did want to know what kobe thought when he did his lil freestyle last year and kobe thought it was only fair that shaq tasted the goods in return.
flogging molly were damn awesome last night. not that they ever haven't been. their insane touring schedule has allowed me to see them an average of twice a year for the last 2 or 3 years now. such a high energy show and they don't have a single song that you don't want to hear.
it got me to thinking who my favourite live bands were, which will lead to a post at some point.
i went to penzeys.com today to buy some cocoa powder to make some cocoa syrup (my supply is nearly gone and i loves me a nice hot chocolate in the winter) and wound up spending $90…including a new peppermill. add penzeys to the list of places i shoudn't be allowed to shop without supervision.
I had Twitter but wasn’t making much use of it so haven’t used it in a while. Something to look at again at a later date methinks.
Maybe there should be a @stopshopping Twitter account? When you are on the verge of an impulse purchase you tweet them and they tweet back with all the reasons to stop. (As if we would listen!)
@ mik it sure is. even if you never follow anyone, it’s good to throw up on the sidebar for those random thoughts.
@ dan yeah no chance in hell i’d listen. i’d just get pissed off at it and buy more to spite it. yes, i get mad at machines.
